Experience the slow pace and relaxation of life in the great outdoors at Midgham Feather Down farm. Our well-equipped luxury tents are camped in glorious woodland surroundings. Every morning you’ll be greeted by the gentle sounds of the farm and sunlight streaming through the trees. The camp is a short stroll from the river Avon, here you can paddle and picnic during the day. In the evening it’s the perfect spot for a BBQ under the stars. No camping trip is complete without quiet conversation around a glowing fire. Roast marshmallows and reflect on the new memories you have made to complete a perfect day.

After you’ve settled in we’ll take you on a tour of the farm to introduce you to our ever-growing family of animals. You’ll meet our miniature ponies, friendly alpacas, chickens, pigs, spring lambs, bunnies and striking ornamental pheasants. We encourage everyone to get involved with feeding and caring for the animals if they wish, so please feel free to stop by at any time. 

This beautiful retreat is all about comfort. Our tents are constructed from sturdy canvas to keep you warm and dry. Inside, you’ll feel right at home. Rustic oak furniture, a wood burning stove and cosy linens give the tent a country cottage feel.

Each tent can sleep up to six people on a double bed, bunk beds and a fun cabin bed for the children. Food and hot drinks can be prepared on the easy to use stove and there’s even a kitchen sink. A big family table is provided, but if the weather’s fine you can relocate outside to picnic in the sun.

The key to a comfortable stay is an accessible toilet and hot showers. Both are available at the Farm. There is a mains toilet with a working flush in every tent; in keeping with the rural theme it’s disguised as a vintage loo. A communal shower block close to camp provides much-needed pampering after a long day exploring the woods and paddling in the streams.

The Farm Larder is well-equipped to ensure the whole family enjoys a hearty feast, three times a day. Here you’ll find local, home-grown produce; fresh fruit and veg, pork from the farm and beef from our neighbours, bread, preserves and wine. You will also find a selection of locally crafted textiles and pottery such as pretty aprons and shower caps. These wonderful souvenirs can be purchased as a reminder of your stay.

Light House Breakfast Box – this perfect breakfast hamper includes a loaf of bread, croissants, butter, preserves, coffee, tea, sugar and fruit juice.

Full House Breakfast Hamper – cook up a full English storm with bacon, sausages or chipolatas, free range eggs, loaf of bread, croissants, butter, preserves, coffee, tea, milk, sugar and fruit juice.

Midgham BBQ Box – this hamper will include a selection of home grown meat for a delicious BBQ; sausages or chipolatas, chicken pieces and burgers.

Midgham luxury BBQ Box – our luxury BBQ box contains a selection of home grown meant for an extravagant feast; sausages or chipolatas, burgers, steaks, butterfly leg of lamb and chick pieces.
